New Orleans Water and Mold Damage Remediation
The homeowner in this New Orleans home noticed a musty odor and found evidence of water damage around the window sill and a cabinet installed on the wall. SERVPRO techs removed the cabinet to scope the area and found evidence of widespread water damage on the sheetrock and active mold colonies. The sheetrock required removal along with the rotted window sill. The insulation within the wall had mold contamination and the techs removed it for disposal. The homeowner had the reason for the water intrusion repairs by a plumber while the techs dried the area and then cleaned the studs and treated both the framework and floors with an antimicrobial cleaning agent.
